2) Information we collect

We collect information from (A) you, (B) your device/browser, and (C) partners involved in logistics and service delivery.

A. Information you provide

  • Account and contact data: name, email, phone number, client/account identifiers, and login credentials.
  • Shipping, fulfillment, and service data: sender/recipient names, addresses, phone numbers, package details (weight/dimensions), item descriptions, declared value, invoices/receipts, delivery preferences, tracking-related notes, support requests, and claim/insurance details.
  • Purchase-assistance data (if you request it): product links, item specifications, quantities, price/merchant details, and instructions needed to fulfill your request.
  • Identity / passport data (not always): we may request government-ID/passport details (and, where necessary, a copy/scan) only when required for customs clearance, recipient verification, carrier/partner requirements, or claim/insurance handling. We request the minimum necessary and apply enhanced access controls.

B. Information collected automatically

  • Device/usage data: IP address, browser type, device identifiers, operating system, pages/actions, timestamps, and referring URLs.
  • Cookies and similar technologies: see Section 9.

C. Information from third parties

Carriers, warehouses, fulfillment partners, customs brokers/agents, and other service partners may provide tracking events, delivery confirmations, exception details, and related operational data.

3) How we use information

  • Provide and operate the Services (account administration, shipping, fulfillment, tracking, claims handling, customer support).
  • Process transactions and maintain business records (billing, accounting, confirmations).
  • Communicate with you (service notices, shipment updates, security alerts).
  • Send marketing communications where permitted and where required consent has been obtained (see Section 8).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents; enforce terms and protect our rights.
  • Comply with legal obligations (tax/accounting, customs, export/import rules, and lawful requests).
  • Improve the Services (analytics, troubleshooting, performance, and feature development).

5) How we share information

We may share personal information with the following categories of recipients, in the minimum amount necessary for the purpose:

  • Logistics partners: carriers, delivery providers, warehouses, fulfillment providers, customs brokers/agents (to move, store, clear, and deliver shipments).
  • Service providers (processors/vendors): hosting, security, analytics, communications tools (email/SMS), customer support tools, and payment processors.
  • Professional advisors: auditors, legal counsel, and consultants (as needed).
  • Authorities/law enforcement: when required by law or where necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets (subject to appropriate protections).

No sale for money. We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

No cross-context behavioral advertising “sharing” (unless we explicitly update this Policy). We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising unless we explicitly tell you otherwise in an updated Policy and provide required choices.

6) International data transfers

Because we operate internationally and use global vendors and partners, your information may be processed in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers (for example, contractual protections).

7) Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations (including accounting and customs), resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Identity/passport data (when collected) is retained only as long as needed for the specific purpose (e.g., customs/verification/claim) and then deleted or access-restricted unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

8) Email/SMS communications (service vs marketing) and opt-out

A. Service (transactional) messages

We may send service messages by email and/or SMS that are necessary to provide the Services (e.g., shipment status updates, confirmations, security alerts, operational notices). These messages are not intended as marketing.

B. Marketing messages (promotional email/SMS)

Where local law requires consent for marketing messages (including promotional SMS), we will obtain the required consent before sending. Marketing content may include promotions, discounts, service announcements of a promotional nature, and offers.

C. How to opt out

  • Marketing SMS: reply STOP (or follow the instructions in the message), or email info@strela.us with subject SMS Opt-Out.
  • Marketing email: use the unsubscribe link (if present) or email info@strela.us with subject Email Opt-Out.

You may still receive essential service messages related to your account and shipments.

9) Cookies & analytics

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, support security, and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality.
